Please read carefully: All programs hosted by the Quechee Library will be outside on the Quechee Green on Tuesdays at 4pm.??? Reading Contracts will be available within the library as well as virtually (check out our kids page for that link) . ALL programs require pre-registration for on-site participation. Just email or call. ALL programs will be filmed and posted to our Quechee Library YouTube channel the following morning.Children wishing to participate virtually can call ahead of time to request materials needed for any craft or activity for a specific program that week.? Limit visits to one-half hour so we can remain within the 10 person maximum capacity. Our open hours are short for now as listed below.? We require masks and the frequent use of our supplied hand sanitizer.? Nick Clemens facilitates a monthly Science Fiction book series. Next date is Monday, June 29 at 6 pm for a discussion of The Power by Naomi Alderman. Copies are available for borrowing.? The group will meet through a combination of? participation at the Quechee Library (masks required and outdoors if weather permits) as well as by requesting a Zoom link.
The Quechee Library Trustees next meet Monday, June 8 at 5? p.m.? The board meets on the second Monday of each month at this time.? This month the board will meet virtually.? Open to the public, the meeting can be attended by emailing email@example.com for the link.
The Wilder Board of Trustees? meets? generally on the first Wednesday of each month at 5 p.m.? The Friends generally meet on the second Wednesday of the month at 11 am.? The Wilder trustees and the Friends will resume their meetings once the libraries can safely re-open after the Covid-19 outbreak.
Generally meeting the first Monday of the month at 4 pm,? this group resumes discussions in July with a look at? author John D. MacDonald and his hard-boiled, houseboat-living detective, Travis McGee.? Books are available for borrowing.?? Participants will wear masks and be socially distanced downstairs.
Growing Stronger, Living Longer: Strength and Balance Exercise

Led by Gail Schaal (Certified Senior Fitness Instructor). $1 donation per session is appreciated to cover refreshments immediately following. Please carry in dry workout shoes,? Enjoy air conditioning on the hot days….and access to the library to stock up on books and dvds.
The weekly gatherings of needleworkers at the Quechee Library will now take a hiatus due to the need for social distancing during the coronavirus outbreak.? Stay well, keep making textiles and? look forward to resuming these evenings in person as soon as it is safe. Meanwhile, the needleworkers will have a chance to gather together through Zoom.? At 6:30 p.m. needleworkers get together Tuesday evenings at the Quechee Library to talk and share interests, skills and advice.?? Knitters, cross-stitchers, rug hookers, and all who love textiles are welcome.

You can return books 24 hours a day 7 days a week using the drop box outside the Co-op entrance, or at either library.
